History of Indian Pentecostal Church of God.

The founder of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God. Born on March 1,1899 to godly parents at Mulakuzha, Kerala, Abraham was saved at the age of seven in 1906 and was baptized in water on February 27, 1916 by Mahakavi K.V. Simon. Pastor K.E. Abraham held the office of the President from 1939 until his home-call in Dec 1974.
In October 1995 the Intercessors for India, a prayer chain to support the goal of planting churches all over India was inaugurated in India Bible College, Kumbanad. Now thousands of believers are praying for the fulfillment of this goal. God works miraculously. In all over India hundreds of new churches are taking shape each month since the year 1995.
On September 13, 2006, the new General Council assumed office. Pastor K. C. John is the General President and Pastor Valson Abraham is the General Secretary. Other members of the council include Pastor E M Zachariah (Vice President), Pastor K M John (Joint Secretary) and Bro. Eapen Thomas (Treasurer).
Pastor T. S. Abraham is the Senior General Minister of IPC. On September 13, 2006, he completed his administration as President of India Pentecostal Church and handed over his administration to the newly elected executives. He continues to give spiritual oversight as mentor to the younger team.
